Job summary

Canteen North America in Wood Dale, IL is seeking a Route Driver for our Office Coffee program. You will operate a company vehicle on a defined route to deliver products and service vending equipment, presenting a professional image to clients.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of driving experience, a valid Non-CDL Class C license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This role offers competitive pay and room for advancement within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver\'s license (unless otherwise indicated by state).
• Preferred 1-2 years experience in a customer service position, or 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, responsible for route, unsupervised most of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines and report defects as needed.
• Ensure truck is loaded with all products before route starts following procedures.
