Job summary

Steward's Hardware Company is seeking friendly, customer-focused team members to assist customers and provide excellent service. Prior hardware experience is welcome but not required as comprehensive training is provided.

You will help customers locate items, staff the register for sales and returns, and enjoy a lively, energetic work environment. Be prepared to stand 6–8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs, with one weekend day required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly and helpful with customers.
• Extensive training provided from day one.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.
• Like working in a fast‑paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs.
• One weekend day each week is required.
