Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Organize, prioritize and complete tasks within set timeframes.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning issues to management.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-reduction goals.
• Comply with company policies and safety requirements.
