29 Acres is seeking a Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician to support Enrich 29 clients with planned goals, recreational activities, vocational opportunities, and life skills. The role involves transporting clients, ensuring safety at community events, and assisting with personal care and skill development.

The Lead RBT will help generalize learned skills, work on challenging behaviors, and participate in professional development while collaborating with coordinators and BCBA oversight.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Associate degree or 60 credits.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an RBT.
  • Experience working with adults with ASD or intellectual disabilities.
  • Must complete Company Training within 90 days: CPR, First Aid, and CPI or Safety Care.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and possess an acceptable driving record.
  • Working conditions include indoor and outdoor environments; may include lifting, pushing, and exposure to potential hazards.
  • Must have the physical ability to respond to situations requiring first aid or CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide life skills training to assist clients in planning activities, vocational training, daily life skills, budgeting, cooking, social and other programs.
  • Lead on ensuring personal client supplies are refilled regularly.
  • Be prepared to work with differing or complex behavioral challenges across 29 Acres.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and CEUs.
  • Provide feedback to Enrich Coordinators on additional programming for clients.
  • Ensure house checklists are completed each shift.
  • Assist clients with summer recreational activities (lake sports, swimming, rock climbing).
  • Provide on-site job coaching and training as clients volunteer, intern, or seek employment.
  • Collect data and observe client behavior as directed by client plans.
  • Arrange transportation and assist with community events using company vehicles.
  • Ensure safety and welfare, including medication reminders and CPR/First Aid if necessary.
  • Advocate for clients in the community and participate in program modifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with professionals while maintaining a proactive attitude.

Position Summary
  • The Full Time Registered Behavior Technician for Enrich 29 helps clients with their planned goals, recreational activities (e.g. lake sports, swimming, rock climbing), vocational opportunities, life skills and personal care. The Lead RBT supplies student support for generalizing learned skills and teaching new skills. Additionally, they use company transportation to transport clients and ensure safety at events in the community.
Position Qualifications
  • Preferred: A minimum of an associate degree or credits equivalent to Junior in College (at least 60 hours)
  • Required:3-5 years of experience as an RBT
  • Required:Highschool diploma or GED
  • Required:Experience working with adults with ASD or intellectual disabilities.

  • Must have the physical ability to respond appropriately to situations that require first aid or CPR
Operational Responsibilities
  • Provide life skills training to assist clients in planning activities, vocational training, daily life skills, budgeting, cooking, social and other programs.
  • Will take lead on ensuring that personal client supplies are refilled on a regular basis.
  • A Lead RBT will be trained and willing to work with differing or complex behavioral challenges across 29 Acres when necessary.
  • Show initiative in completing any Professional Development (CEU) offered by 29 Acres to continue growing in role.
  • Provide feedback to Enrich Coordinators on further programming for clients.
  • Takes charge in making sure that all house checklists are thoroughly completed each shift.
  • Assist clients with summer recreational activities (e.g. lake sports, swimming, rock climbing)
  • Practice career readiness skills in various areas while providing needed assistance in the process.
  • Provide on-site job coaching and training as clients volunteer, acquire internships and become employed.
  • Collect data, observe client behavior as directed based on client’ plans.
  • Provide transportation and assistance with community events with use of company vehicles.
  • Ensure safety and welfare (e.g. assist clients taking medication on schedule, administering CPR and first aid if necessary)
  • Serve as an advocate for 29 Acres clients in the community and in program modification through brainstorming meetings as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with other professionals while maintaining a “can do” attitude.
  • Perform other assignments as delegated by the Coordinator or BCBA.
