Job summary

All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts, PLLC is seeking full-time ABA Therapists (RBT) to join our home and center-based programs in Massachusetts. You will provide instructional services to children with autism under BCBA supervision, using play and structured teaching methods.

We offer on-site positions with training to obtain RBT certification and chances for growth toward certification while supporting families and helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
  • RBT certification preferred; training provided.
  • Experience with ABA principles is preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred; background checks required.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment and behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Meet with BCBA regularly to review duties.
  • Receive ongoing supervision and implement feedback.
  • Teach clients functional skills and manage challenging behavior.
  • Work with individual clients or groups in Natural Environment.
  • Maintain program materials: data collection, graphing, session agendas.
  • Provide developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Coordinate with parents and other professionals on treatment plans.
  • Ensure health and safety of every child.
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Represent clinic professionally and adhere to policies including HIPAA/FERPA.

All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts is currently seeking applicants for full-time ABA Therapists in our home and center-based ABA programs. This position consists of providing instruction to children diagnosed with autism through play and formal instructional methods. In this position you will be trained to provide much need language, social, and behavioral support and create a lasting and meaningful impact on the lives of children you work with.

Our initial training program will fulfill the requirements for the entry level credential in the field of ABA – Registered Behavior Technician. This credential could serve as the first step toward a meaningful career working with persons’ with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Title: Full time RBT

Reports To: BCBA

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Provide direct instructional services to clients, implementing and executing the recommendations, interventions, teaching procedures, etc. as derived and determined by each of the client’s assessment under the direct supervision of the BCBA.

Responsible for instruction and safety of children as well as related clerical duties (i.e. graphing, material organization)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carry out the treatment and behavior plans developed by the BCBA based on initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Meet with BCBA on a regular basis to review duties and responsibilities.
  • Receive ongoing supervision from the BCBA and implement feedback and recommendations.
  • Teach clients developmentally appropriate functional skills and manage challenging behavior as determined through the client’s individualized treatment and/or behavior intervention plans.
  • Work with individual client or groups of clients within the Natural Environment.
  • Responsible for daily upkeep of program materials for designated clients according to guidelines as set forth by BCBA, including but not limited to: data collection, probing, graphing, updating program book(s) and session agenda folder, replenishing daily materials needed for assigned students, organizing and cleaning assigned clients work area.
  • Provide the most appropriate and developmentally individualized learning environment for each client of the clinic.
  • Interact with parents, guardians and other professionals as needed regarding individual treatment plans and progress meeting information.
  • Protect and ensure the health and safety of every child.
  • Address any problem that may be occurring.
  • Assist clients with health and hygiene practices.
  • Participate in the development of reports, individual treatment plans and behavior reduction plans in coordination with BCBA and BCBA-D.
  • Participate in staff meetings, mandatory in-service trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Represent yourself and the clinic in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to and maintain the integrity of the All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts’ mission statement.
  • Know, understand, and continually practice the guiding principles of the clinic.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to approved company policies, procedures, and philosophies, most critically HIPAA, FERPA, and confidentiality requirements.
SKILLS
  • RBT Certification preferred, not required. Training and support will be provided to obtain certification.
  • Basic knowledge of the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis preferable
  • Basic knowledge Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior preferable

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO PROVIDING SERVICES
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • Training in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
  • CPR/BLS Certification preferred.
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation
  • Must be willing to work a variable 40-hour week.
  • All new employees are subject to background checks
