Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis to perform diagnostic imaging under the radiologist's direction. The role includes patient interaction, accurate image capture, and adherence to safety and department policies.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT registration, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and must hold or obtain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist with ARRT is required at hire.
• Current BLS certification or in-house BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Identifies patient, documents procedure details, and ensures safety.
• Operates imaging equipment with accuracy and maintains image transfer to storage.
• Performs clerical tasks using Excellian and PACS/EMR systems.
• Communicates issues and supports team as needed.
