• Administer contrast media under physician guidance following safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment safety and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Manage and update images and patient records in PACS system, schedule exams, and handle clerical duties.
• Assist with quality assurance initiatives and clinical rotations, as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties to support department operations.

Job description

Position:

Advanced Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to aid patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision, ensuring high-quality images and verifying clarity before submission.
• Prepare, position, and transfer patients, explaining procedures and ensuring radiation safety.
• Administer contrast media under physician guidance following safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment safety and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Manage and update images and patient records in PACS system, schedule exams, and handle clerical duties.
• Assist with quality assurance initiatives and clinical rotations, as needed.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical experience or a Bachelor's degree.

Certifications:

ARRT(R), BLS; licensure may be required depending on the state.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
