Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring Full Time Private Duty Caregivers to support clients across Kirkland and surrounding towns. You will provide compassionate in-home care aligned with each client’s care plan, with flexible schedules and growth opportunities.

This role emphasizes personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, backed by training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. Full-time benefits include health coverage, 401K, and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background checks).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten the day for each client.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and supportive care.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
