Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is actively seeking a Primary Care Physician for a full-time assignment at a California state correctional facility in Imperial, CA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, 40 hours per week, with compensation at $190 per hour on a 1099 basis.

Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required. Providers will work under the direction of the facility CEO/CME and must follow the facility's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be Family Medicine or Internal Medicine board-certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care physician services at the correctional facility under institutional policies.
• Adhere to medical staff bylaws, infection control precautions, and authorization procedures.
