Makes children feel welcome and comfortable. Assists in the planning and implementing of scheduled period(s) of activities, which are developmentally appropriate and ensures the safety and well being of the children as well as providing a model of quality.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Prepares and maintain lessons for classroom instruction. Maintains attendance records for a designated group of children and adheres to regular work and activity schedules. Assists in food preparation and distribution. Establishes and Maintains control and safety of an assigned group of children. Assures the orderliness and cleanliness of designated work area(s).
