Gordon JCC in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher to join the Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC). You will work with a co-teacher to provide a play-based, child-centered program for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.

The ECLC focuses on social-emotional development, curiosity, and community, welcoming educators of all backgrounds. Open to learning about Jewish traditions while caring for diverse families.

Principal Responsibilities:

The Gordon JCC Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) is seeking a warm, dependable and collaborative full-time Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. Our classrooms serve children ages 6 weeks through 5 years, and we are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and values teamwork.

This is a full-time position working alongside a dedicated co‑teacher in a supportive, relationship-centered environment.

About Our School

The ECLC is a play-based, child-centered program focused on social-emotional development, curiosity, and community. We believe in supporting the whole child and the whole teacher. As part of the Gordon JCC, we welcome educators of all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• ? Partner with a co-teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum

Compensation & Benefits

• ? $19-$23 per hour, based on education and experience
• ? Candidates with extensive experience and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related fi eld may be considered at the higher end of the pay range
• ? Two weeks off in the winter (December 21-January 1)
• ? One week in July for teacher in-service and classroom preparation (July 27-31)
• ? Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Passover, Memorial Day & July 4th off (8 days)
