Job summary

Burlington Christian Church in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Preaching Minister to lead the congregation with a Spirit-led, Scripture-grounded ministry. The pastor will preach weekly, shepherd the flock, and collaborate with children’s and worship ministries while modeling Christlike character across the church and community.

The position requires a Restoration Movement Bible college background, strong preaching and teaching gifts, and a commitment to unity, evangelism, and outreach.

Qualifications

• A Bible college degree from a Restoration Movement college (or equivalent training consistent with Restoration Movement doctrine).
• A deep conviction in the inspiration and authority of Scripture, fully embracing 2 Timothy 3:16 and living it out in daily ministry.
• A family man who models Christlike character in his home, relationships, and community.
• A preacher and teacher who communicates God’s Word with clarity, passion, and Spirit-led conviction.
• A servant-leader committed to unity, discipleship, evangelism, and the mission of Christ’s church.
• Preach and teach the Word faithfully each week.
• Provide spiritual servant leadership, pastoral care, and guidance to the congregation.
• Work collaboratively with our children’s ministry, worship ministry, and elders.
• Help equip the church for outreach, discipleship, and spiritual maturity.
