Job summary

Pizza Ranch in Norwalk, IA is hiring a Line Cook to measure, prepare, and cook food to our standards while keeping a clean, punctual, and honest work ethic. The role emphasizes fast-paced service with a focus on delivering quality meals to guests and teamwork with other staff.

Eligibility begins at age 16, with opportunities for cross-training, lifting up to 40 pounds, and flexible scheduling. We offer PTO, health and dental insurance, and employee discounts as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• May be cross-trained to perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.
• Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during entire shift.

• Ability to lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds.
• Strong desire and ability to provide legendary guest service.

Responsibilities:

Line cooks are vital to the successful operation of our restaurants and meeting the expectations of our customers. The main responsibility of a Pizza Ranch Line Cook is to measure, prepare, and cook food according to Pizza Ranch standards. Punctuality, cleanliness, and honesty are the traits required from applicants for this position. Line cooks must also be able to read recipe cards, measure ingredients, and prepare food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
