Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks a licensed Physician Assistant to deliver evidence-based care in inpatient and outpatient settings under physician supervision. You will conduct comprehensive exams, manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and counsel patients on health maintenance.

The role requires disaster-ready clinical competence and team collaboration within Memorial’s multi-disciplinary care model.

Qualifications

• Accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• Florida PA license required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ATLS/Trauma credentials may be required depending on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete medical histories and perform comprehensive exams.
• Execute diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as indicated.
• Instructs and counsels patients on health promotion and maintenance.
• Work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to manage diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care.
• Organize and present data on rounds and outpatient encounters to identify problems and determine procedures.
• Provide follow-up and health maintenance according to standards of care.
