Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus in Colorado Springs is seeking a board-certified MD/DO Allergist for a full-time position. You will diagnose and treat allergies, oversee testing and patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The clinic offers comprehensive allergy services, travel to other market clinics, mentorship, and a supportive environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with a minimum of two years of experience in Allergy and Immunology.
• Licensed in the state of the assigned clinic location as an MD or DO.
• Board eligible or certified in Allergy/Immunology (BE/BC).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage allergy testing for patients using Percutaneous and Intracutaneous methods.
• Deliver quality patient care during assessment, exam, and treatment planning.
• Diagnose and treat allergic or immunologic conditions.
• Administer Oral Immunotherapy and arrange diagnostic tests as needed.
• Lead and mentor clinical staff; supervise midlevel providers.
• Direct patient care including medical assessments and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with referring providers and the medical community.
• Travel to assigned sites and participate in team meetings.

The Physician, Allergist is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergy and sinus problems. They will practice precision everywhere including providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above. The Physician will mentor all clinical staff by showing exceptional leadership skills and leading by example.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients by utilizing both Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing.
• Deliver quality care to patient (during assessment, physical exam, and treatment options)
• Diagnose or treat allergic or immunologic conditions
• Oral Immunotherapy Treatment
• Order or perform diagnostic tests, such as skin pricks, intradermal, Patch or others as needed
• Administer SCIT injections
• Intake and assessment of new patient
• Request necessary history and treatment plans from outside providers when indicated
• Create a plan of care/treatment plan for new patients
• Direct patient care including medical assessments and follow-ups
• Set an example of compassionate and knowledgeable medical care
• Stay abreast of developments in Allergy/Immunology and regularly communicate relevant information to other providers in the center
• Oversee Midlevel providers in practice
• Participate in meetings as appropriate and/or as requested by the medical director
• Manage an appropriate caseload including paperwork; charting to be completed within 48 hours of the patient visit
• Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose, manage and evolve patient care
• Travel to assigned sites
• Provide mentorship to Clinical staff.
• Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.
• Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep. to help garner credibility and market Aspire.
• Adhere to standard metrics with respect to testing, treatment and IOP conversions
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• MD/DO with a minimum of two years of experience in Allergy
• Experience in food allergy, including food challenges
• Must be licensed in state of assigned clinic location as an MD or DO
• BE/BC in Allergy/Immunology
• Must have a valid driver’s license
