Champion, Partners in Rehab in Sylacauga, Alabama is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time SNF position (32-40 hours/week). The assistant will perform PT treatments and related duties under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Graduates are encouraged to apply. Licensure by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy is required. COVID vaccination is preferred with possible exemptions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensure by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to the code of ethics of the APTA.
• Treats patients after evaluation by the Registered Physical Therapist.
• Participates in in-service training for clinical staff.
• Consults with the physical therapist regarding patient progress and plan of care.
• Interacts with other departments involved with patient progress.
• Covers instructions for home treatment programs through consultation with the Registered Physical Therapist.
• Documents on all treatments per department policies.
