Job summary

National HealthCare Corporation’s NHC HomeCare Crawfordville/Tallahassee in Crawfordville, FL seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. The PT supervises and participates in applying physical therapy techniques for rehabilitation of patients with disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

The role coordinates therapy services, delegates tasks to licensed assistants, and guides staff through goals and re-evaluations.

Qualifications

• Must have BS or MS in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must be licensed or registered where practicing.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy as ordered by the physician and delegates tasks to the licensed PT assistant.
• Instructs staff in delegation, precautions, and re-evaluation planning.
• Evaluates and plans treatments with short- and long-term goals approved by the physician.
