Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a Physical Therapist for North County Hazelwood to assess and design individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership.

Responsibilities include direct supervision of patients, supervising rehabilitation technicians, and coordinating care with PT assistants, with a state license required. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 accompanies a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist preferred.

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts.

Job description

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Physical Therapist-North County HazelwoodShift:

DaysBachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy.Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

Preferred Experience: Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
