Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Decatur, IL is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform various duties in specimen collection, handling and processing, order entry and customer service to deliver accurate test results to the medical staff.

Schedule is Full-Time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other weekend. A high school diploma or GED is required and 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred; phlebotomy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection, handling and processing.
• Order entry and customer service to deliver accurate test results.
