Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate, prompt, and caring service in our Retail location. You will assist with prescriptions, labeling, and customer interactions while following SOPs and state regulations.

The role requires completion of required training, ongoing licensure/certification as needed, and a commitment to safety, quality, and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements, licensure and certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or actively enrolled in high school/equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention to focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs, ensure labeling accuracy for patient safety.
• Customer service and team orientation: assist patients in a friendly manner and respond to their needs.
• Communication: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues, active listening.
• Mathematical reasoning: calculate tablets, days of supply, and bottle counts for prescriptions.
• Problem resolution: handle challenging interactions and choose best course of action.
• Physical demands: lift, move, reach, and stand for extended periods; maintain visual accuracy; handle a range of motions.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
