Job summary

Cub Duluth is seeking a dedicated pharmacy technician to join our team. This full-time role supports the pharmacist with prescription filling, price checks, and stock control to ensure product availability.

You will contribute to accurate order processing and customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to work independently, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment (PC, telephone, fax).
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Good judgement when supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Process customer orders with price accuracy and product knowledge.
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Handle hazardous drugs as required.
• Receive and stock inventory.
• Assist in ordering.
• Pull bottles for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organize and clean workspace.
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Job Overview:

Cub Duluth is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a full time pharmacy technician position! Pharmacy Technician team members at Cub are processing prescriptions, record keeping and stock support to Pharmacy. The position is also responsible for maintaining shelf stock to ensure maximum product availability and sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Responsible for accurately processing customers' orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge
• Ensures positive customer relations
• Hazardous drug handling
• Performs department receiving and stocking
• Assists in ordering
• Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions
• Organizes and cleans
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing).
• Ability to operate and use as needed various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax).
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance).
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read/ view computer screens for extensive periods of time.
• Requires High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age and older
• Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
