Job summary

Pella Regional Health Center is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our pharmacy team. You will assist with dispensing medications, perform inventory control, complete compliance audits, handle financial transactions, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining accurate pharmacy records.

The CPhT works under the direction of licensed Pharmacists as part of an interdisciplinary patient care team.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician duties include dispensing medications, inventory control, compliance audits, financial transactions, and customer service with accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Interdisciplinary team member under licensed Pharmacists; perform technical functions within the pharmacy; ensure accurate records and safe medication handling.

Schedule

0730-1700 M-F, 34 hours/week (4 days @ 8.5 hours)

Weekend Rotation

Every 4th weekend, Hours 0800-1200 Saturday and Sunday

Job Summary

The Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is responsible for providing pharmacy services including, but not limited to, distributing pharmaceuticals, performing inventory control, completing compliance audits and financial transactions, providing customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records.

The CPhT works as part of an interdisciplinary patient care team under the direction of licensed Pharmacists.

The CPhT is required to utilize and enhance their knowledge and competency while performing technical functions within the pharmacy.
