North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT (West Location) is hiring a Full-Time Pets Associate to join our team. You will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, stock and merchandise the pet department, and help maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

We value authentic, enthusiastic individuals who love our lifestyle and are committed to serving customers. The role requires flexibility with shifts Mon-Sat 7am-7pm and Sundays 9am-5pm, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Willingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individually
• Ability to take initiative, embrace change, and learn new things
• Drive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the role
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Committed to supplying our North 40 guests with phenomenal customer service
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
• Knowledge of small and large animals in areas of feed, supplements and animal care items preferred
• Previous merchandising experience is helpful
• Ability to educate and assist customers on the brands that North 40 sells
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, generate sales and suggest products.
• Stock and merchandise the department and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Safeguard company assets and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Educate customers on North 40 brands and help them find the right items.
