Job summary

East Tennessee Children's Hospital Rehab West in Knoxville is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to help children reach their highest functional potential through pediatric therapy. You will evaluate, treat, and plan care with a family-centered approach, documenting progress and outcomes.

You will collaborate with therapists, mentor staff, and ensure timely patient scheduling, documentation, and discharge planning in alignment with rehabilitation standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of typical and atypical child development.
• Strong clinical skills and patient assessment.
• Excellent interaction and communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Performs pediatric PT evaluations and develops plans of care.
• Coordinates with care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and home program guidance.
• Supervises PT/PTA and maintains documentation per standards.
• Maintains timely scheduling and accurate charges.
