Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services in Austin, TX is hiring for a full-time Patient Server to support Dell Seton Medical Center UT. Schedule includes evenings and rotating weekends, with online applications accepted only. Previous serving experience is a plus; training is offered.

Responsible for patient food service, tray assembly and delivery, and respecting dietary restrictions. Meets HACCP, HIPAA, and safety standards while supporting patient satisfaction and care quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move up to 100 pounds.
• Basic computer skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient food service on assigned units.
• Take patients' menu selections and assemble/deliver trays.
• Adhere to dietary restrictions and accommodate allergies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per HACCP and health regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure diet accuracy.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
• Assist with routine cleaning and equipment safety.
