Job summary

RydeTrans in Stockton, CA is hiring a full-time driver to ensure the safe, efficient transport of clients and uphold our commitment to service and safety. You will work with dispatch, maintain vehicle readiness, and interact with passengers professionally.

Applicants must have a Class C CDL, be at least 21, hold a valid license for 3 years, pass a pre-employment drug test, and show a customer‑oriented approach. Early morning shifts, teamwork, and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Class C Commercial Driver's License.
• Held a regular driver's license for 3 years.
• Have a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Checks for start time (for the next day's work schedule) with dispatch daily.
• Performs pre/post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
• Completes assigned paperwork accurately and neatly and turns into dispatch daily.
• Performs work with quality, efficiency, and safety at all times.
• Ensures passengers wear seat belts.
• Report any unsafe dangerous requests from customers to senior management.
• Responsible for ensuring he/she never backs up the bus without a spotter helping to assist in the blind areas.
• Maintain excellent customer service with the customers, transportation, and different teams to establish solid relationships.
• Must be punctual at all times to pick up clients.
• Must work cooperatively with members of the crew.
• Must be courteous, helpful, and professional to all existing and potential customers.
• Promote RydeTrans Mission and Vision Statements.
• Continuously promotes compliance with company policies and procedures.
