Job summary

Renew Motion Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Newark, New Jersey outpatient office. The role focuses on evaluating, developing, and executing treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life for clients of varying ages.

The successful candidate will work onsite in a collaborative environment, providing high-quality interdisciplinary services including PT, OT, speech therapy, ABA, and psychology.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting detailed Physical Therapy evaluations for patients, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations, and determining an appropriate course of action.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client, while promoting their autonomy and well-being.
• Regularly monitoring and reassessing patients progress toward treatment goals, making necessary adjustments based on clinical signs and symptoms.
• Documenting all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and timeliness.
• Engaging patients and their families in education regarding the recovery process, setting realistic expectations, and addressing challenges to facilitate adherence to treatment plans.
• Achieving designated utilization and performance metrics while contributing to the overall operational goals of the outpatient facility.
• Collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines to provide coordinated care for clients receiving multiple therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client population requires a Physical Therapist who is comfortable working with a variety of patients across different stages of life and with various health conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is strongly preferred.
• Current and valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A willingness to conduct evaluations and provide treatments both in person and via telehealth, as clinically appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits
