MaineHealth, a not-for-profit integrated health system serving Maine and New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time optometrist for Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta, ME. The Attending Optometrist will provide high-quality eye care, perform routine and problem-focused examinations, assess symptoms, determine conditions, and prescribe treatments or services.

Glasses and contact lenses will be prescribed as appropriate.

Qualifications

• OD degree required.
• Current license in the State of Maine.
• Previous experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine and problem-focused eye examinations; assess symptoms and evaluate conditions to determine appropriate treatment.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses; provide other treatments and services as needed.
• No Optical Shop currently on site; other duties as assigned.
