Job summary

Target Optical, a part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a full-time Optometrist (OD) to provide comprehensive eye care and vision health services. You will diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions, and collaborate with the store team to deliver a premier patient experience.

The role requires an OD license in New York, DPA/TPA certification, and solid knowledge of optometric technology. Join a customer‑focused network dedicated to high-quality care and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the State of practice location.
• DPA and TPA certified.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills – verbal & listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and services to patients.
• Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Conduct all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of care.
• Ensure patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize technology to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Collaborate with store/practice team and leadership to support growth and brand value.
• Maintain office quality systems and drive KPI performance.
• Mentor and train team members using company programs.
