Job summary

Sowash Practices in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a skilled Optometrist for a full-time role. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and prescribe lenses, while providing pre- and post-operative care and patient education.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state optometry license in good standing.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
• Issue pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgery patients.
• Educate patients on eye health and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare teams.
• Keep up to date with optometry advancements and CE.
