Highland Hospital, a 261-bed community teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Rochester Medical Center, is recruiting for a Perioperative Support Tech to join our OR team. The Highland Hospital Operating Room offers a fast paced, exciting, and collaborative work environment.

Become part of a team where cutting edge technology is used and surgeries are performed daily in our recently expanded facility which features 17 state of the art operating rooms.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• 6 months previous related experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification Required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with room turnover in the OR.
• Gather supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Set up specialty beds as needed.
• Transport patients, instrumentation and supplies.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the OR environment according to hospital policy.
