Chino Valley Healthcare Center in Pomona, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience to join our Nursing team. The role involves personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and reporting changes to the supervising RN.

We require active CNA certification, at least 1 year sub-acute experience, HS diploma or equivalent, COVID vaccination, and English proficiency. The position is full-time on the NOC shift, wage $22 per hour, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with a CNA program completed.
• Minimum of 1 year sub-acute experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster(s).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift/move residents or stand long periods.
• Compassion towards residents and families.

Responsabilités

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed/registered nurse.
• Assisting with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreation and outings.
• Maintaining organizational skills to keep the unit running smoothly.
• Answering call lights to determine and meet resident needs.
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary.
• Performing and documenting rounds of patients and reporting changes.
• Providing companionship and excellent care to patients.
• Maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
• Prioritizing patient activities based on current care needs.
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents between wheelchair, bed, chair, etc.
• Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activities.
• Being punctual and professional.
• Other duties as assigned.
