Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a 0.6 FTE Night Shift RN for the Clinical Resource Unit in a 36-hour weekly schedule with every third weekend and alternating holidays. This acute care role supports float coverage across observation, med/tele, CCU stepdown, and behavioral health units.

As a skilled RN, you will coordinate care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and ensure a safe environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Where You Will Work

Level 1 trauma center Internal Float Pool that floats throughout Good Samaritan Hospital including:

• observation unit (4-5 ratio)
• 5 med/tele units (4-5 ratio)
• Critical care stepdown (3-4 ratio)
• Behavioral health unit

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
