Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and families, with needs ranging from uncomplicated to highly complex, using a person-centered approach to develop care plans and prioritize nursing care.
• Plans for care, prioritizes needs, and involves patients and families in establishing care goals.
• Demonstrates critical thinking by making clinical decisions and addressing potential problems.
• Acts as a resource to peers and remains current on organizational policies and standards.
• Facilitates linking patients and families with other disciplines and services as needed.
• Works to gain knowledge in one or more MCH specialty areas (Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery, NICU).
• Full-time night shift with weekend and holiday rotation.
