Job summary

TEC Services is seeking a Full-Time Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe environment at various client locations in New York. You will perform routine janitorial tasks, sanitize restrooms, offices and common areas, and report issues to supervision.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or in a team, including night shifts. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work night shifts and travel to assigned work locations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas including floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize and empty trash receptacles.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces according to standards and replenish supplies as needed.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report malfunctions promptly.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized janitorial closets and storage areas.
