Job summary

Mistras in Monroe, NC is seeking an NDT Assistant to support field and shop inspections in the Monroe, NC area. This role is ideal for candidates with prior NDT assistant experience who are looking to grow within the nondestructive testing industry.

NDT students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. You will assist certified technicians, help set up and maintain NDT equipment, and prepare inspection areas and documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous NDT Assistant experience is required
• NDT students currently enrolled in or recently completed an NDT program are welcome to apply
• Must be local to the Heath, OH area
• No relocation assistance is available for this position
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel locally when needed
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
