Maison D’enfants Llc. in SoHo, New York, seeks a full-time live-out nanny for an infant daughter born in August 2026.

Start no later than early January 2027, with potential for earlier November/December part-time arrangements based on applicant preference and availability. Full Time live-out Nanny required for a SoHo family with an infant daughter (born Aug 2026) starting no later than early January 2027. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing + proactive care and interacting with their daughter in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who is calm, warm and who above all loves kids! The family is looking for a long term partnership with a candidate who feels like a natural extension of their family, a warm and gentle caretaker who wants to be a partner in the child's care and development, and who wants to grow with the family. The ideal candidate is someone who is confident with newborn and toddler milestones and actively engages in play and outdoor time. Experienced candidates with a maternal, gentle and caring nature will be a strong match for this family. Good communication, taking initiative and common sense/good judgment are key to this role. Mom works from home some days during the week - a candidate who is organized, independent and professional with the ability to read the room is a must.

German fluency is desired for the role (Dad is German!), however the family will consider all qualified and strong candidates!

Location: SoHo, NY

Start date: No later than early January 2027 - family flexible for an earlier start date for an ideal candidate (open to part time hours in November / December based on candidate preference and availability).

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am - 6pm. The family is flexible for a Monday - Thursday (longer days) or Monday - Friday schedule as well as additional hours (evenings/weekends) if a candidate is looking for extra hours. The family's goal is to find the right long term personality match for their family and can supplement with a weekend / part time nanny if their preferred candidate is not looking to take on additional hours! All interested candidates looking for consistent 40-50 hours and between 4-6 days/week are encouraged to apply.

Flexibility as needed for additional hours and travel is required - the family does summer in Montauk and some live-in will be required.

Children: infant daughter (born August 2026)

Conditions: $33 - $38 per hour* (all guaranteed hours paid as a W2 employee + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus healthcare stipend (if applicable), unlimited OMNY card, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations (family open to higher rate for German fluency)

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Authorization to work in the US
• A minimum of 5-10 years experience as a nanny, with years of experience caring for infants
• A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and eventual toddlers
• Desire to grow with the family
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Proven tenure with multiple families including excellent references
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• An open and flexible schedule - able to flex based on family's needs
• Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
• Able to navigate internal stairs in apartment
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
