Job summary

Wellthy is helping a Santa Clara family hire a full-time nanny to care for two children, ages 2 and 5. The role requires reliable daily care, safety, and proactive engagement in activities at home and beyond.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM (30 hours/week). Duties include transportation with the caregiver’s own vehicle, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and educational play while supporting the children’s growth and development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in toddler and young child care.

• CPR/First-aid certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive daily care including personal care (bathing, dressing) and diapering/potty training support.
• Assist with homework, creative play, and educational activities.
• Plan and prepare meals and snacks for the children, feeding as needed.
• Transport children to activities, playdates, and outings using candidate's own vehicle.
• Perform light housekeeping and children’s laundry related to daily care.

A welcoming family in Santa Clara, CA 95054 is seeking a reliable, engaging full-time nanny to care for their two young children (ages 2 and 5). This is a great position for candidates with strong instincts, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate needs and provide proactive, individualized care. This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30 hours per week)
• Start and end times are flexible

Family Specifications:

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Compensation:

• $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience
