Job summary

Mondelēz International is hiring a Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer to service Baton Rouge area stores. You will stock shelves, set up displays, write orders on an iPad, and maintain in-stock conditions for brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita and Chips Ahoy!

You’ll build strong store relationships, follow DSD merchandising practices, and support launches while adhering to RTM plans. The role requires physical work and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to drive personal vehicle with insurance coverage.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25–35 miles of Baton Rouge, LA (Plaquemine area).

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism and be the face of iconic brands.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits following DSD Merchandising Excellence; capture display photos via DMI.
• Build relationships with store personnel to support execution and visibility.
• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions using Salesforce.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure plan compliance with RTM.
• Follow daily RTM schedules for efficient coverage.
• Support seasonal sales and new product launches.
• Communicate store-level insights to RTM and management.
• Maintain safety and perform physical tasks including lifting.

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owner of the biscuit aisle.


• Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers


• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via DMI


• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands


• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce


• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with your RTM-negotiated plans with the stores


• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues


• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events


• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team


• Stay Safe & Compliant, embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.


• High School Diploma or GED preferred.


• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.


• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).


• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.


• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.


• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location (Baton Rouge, LA)


• Secondary locations: Port Allen, LA; New Roads, LA; Plaquemine, LA


• Schedule availability required: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; start by 7 am

Salary and Benefits
