Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer in Illinois to manage in-store merchandising, stock shelves, and build displays. You will visit stores, place orders via iPad, and ensure Nabisco brands are well represented and compliant with company guidelines.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a REAL ID or equivalent, possess a High School diploma, and can travel between nearby locations, including Bannockburn and Northbrook, with a schedule Tue-Sat starting at 08:00

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid REAL ID driver's license (issued by the state of residence), U.S. passport, or federal ID to access a military base facility.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to multiple store locations (mileage reimbursed).
• Capability to perform physical tasks including repetitive lifting, bending, and moving up to 25 lbs, with occasional >50 lbs as described.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store to employees and collaborate with sales reps to optimize shelf visibility and create promotional displays.
• Conduct in-store visits per Mondelēz’ merchandising steps and capture photos of displays.
• Order products via iPad for shelves and displays to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, etc.) are well represented and stocked according to Mondelēz guidelines.
• Adhere to negotiated plans with store managers and communicate issues to Mondelēz management.
• Follow the merchandising manager's daily schedule for efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude while representing Mondelēz in stores.

Join our team of Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands like

• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions.
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid REAL ID driver's license (issued by the state in which the person resides), U.S. passport, or federal ID. This role will service a military base facility where it is a federal requirement to have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Bannockburn, IL
• Secondary locations: Northbrook, IL
• Schedule availability required: Tuesday-Saturday
• Start Time: 08:00 AM

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.60-$19.00 based on relevant experience
