Job summary

Mondelez International in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Full-Time Merchandiser/Order Writer to bring world-famous snacks to life in stores. You will stock shelves, build relationships with store teams, and manage on-shelf execution, ensuring products are in stock and visible.

This role requires a drive to deliver excellent customer service, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds (50 pounds occasionally), and the flexibility to start early and work weekends, with mileage reimbursement and strong growth

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Self-motivated, professional attitude, able to work independently.
• Must own a vehicle with valid insurance; mileage reimbursed.
• Lift up to 25 lbs; may lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; stock shelves.
• Retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25–35 miles of Mesa, AZ; Chandler as secondary location.
• Open availability including weekends/holidays; 5:00–6:00 AM start.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelez in-store with professionalism and positivity as the face of the brands.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits, capture display photos, and manage product placement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to support visibility.
• Order product via iPad and maintain in-stock conditions using Salesforce.
• Implement promotional displays and follow RTM plans with stores.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM for efficient coverage.
• Support seasonal sales, launches, and high-visibility events.
• Communicate store-level insights or opportunities to the RTM and management.
• Stay safe and compliant in a physically demanding role.

A Full-Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world-famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in-store - building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them. Your work delights consumers, drives results, and keeps our iconic brands front and center: perfectly placed, impossible to miss, and always in stock.

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owner of the biscuit aisle.

• Serve as the face of the company , delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers

• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via DMI

• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands

• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce

• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with your RTM-negotiated plans with the stores

• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues

• Support seasonal sales , new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events

• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team

• Stay Safe & Compliant , embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides. )

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.

• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).

• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.

• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.

• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Mesa, AZ

• Secondary locations: Chandler, AZ

• Schedule availability required: Open availability including at least one weekend day and holidays as needed. 5:00-6:00 AM Start Time

Salary and Benefits:

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $17.50 - $18.50
