Job summary

Mondelez International in DeKalb, IL is seeking a Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer to bring world-famous snacks to life in-store. You will stock shelves, build displays, order products via iPad, and ensure products are everywhere shoppers expect them.

You will work with store teams, capture display photos, and follow RTM plans while interacting with customers daily. This role emphasizes physical effort and extended up-front preparation.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive, professional, self-motivated; able to work independently.
• Valid auto insurance; willing to drive to multiple store locations.
• Able to perform physical tasks: lift up to 25 lbs, occasional 50 lbs.
• Retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25–35 miles of Dekalb, IL; secondary locations include Sycamore, Sterling, Dixon, IL.
• Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday; Start time 07:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Serve as the face of the company to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits and capture display photos via DMI.
• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel to support visibility.
• Order product via iPad to keep in-stock conditions using Salesforce.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure RTM plan compliance.
• Follow RTM-directed daily schedules and priorities.
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and merchandising events.
• Communicate store-level insights to RTM and management.
• Stay safe and compliant during physical merchandising work.

A Full-Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world-famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in-store - building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them. • Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owner of the biscuit aisle.


• Serve as the face of the company , delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers


• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via DMI


• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands


• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce


• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with your RTM-negotiated plans with the stores


• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues


• Support seasonal sales , new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events


• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team


• Stay Safe & Compliant , embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides. (if does NOT service a military base store, use and unhighlight this one and remove bullet below)


• High School Diploma or GED preferred.


• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.


• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).


• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.


• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.


• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location Dekalb, IL


• Secondary locations: Sycamore, IL, Sterling, IL, Dixon, IL


• Schedule availability required: Tuesday-Saturday | Start time: 07:00 AM

Salary and Benefits:

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 based on relevant experience/
