Job summary

Mondelēz International in Alabama seeks a full-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer to stock shelves, build displays, and place orders to keep products in stock. You will visit stores, photograph displays, follow promotions, and coordinate with sales reps to maximize visibility of Oreo, Ritz, Chips Ahoy, and other brands.

The role requires driving your own vehicle, lifting up to 25 lbs, and independence; locations include Athens and Decatur areas with a Monday–Friday schedule and some weekend

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access the military base facility.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to multiple store locations and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location: Athens, AL; secondary location: Decatur, AL.
• Schedule availability: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in front of store staff and work with sales reps to optimize shelf visibility and construct promotional displays.
• Conduct in-store visits following DSD Merchandising Steps and capture photos of displays.
• Place product orders via iPad to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Ensure Nabisco brands are well represented and maintained per Mondelēz guidelines.
• Coordinate with sales reps to follow negotiated plans with store managers and report issues.
• Follow the daily merchandising schedule to maximize in-store efficiency.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.

Join our team of Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among other delicious industry-leading snacks.

• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions.
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid REAL ID driver's license (issued by the state in which the person resides), U.S. passport, or federal ID. This role will service a military base facility where it is a federal requirement to have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Athens, AL
• Secondary locations: Decatur, AL
• Schedule availability required: Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Thursday | Friday

Salary and Benefits

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.00-$18.00 based on relevant experience
