Job summary

Mondelēz International in the Dorchester/Greater Boston area is seeking a Full-Time Merchandiser Order Writer to represent the company in-store, stock shelves, build displays, and ensure our iconic brands stay front and center.

You will visit stores, place orders via iPad using Salesforce, capture display photos, follow RTM plans, and collaborate with store personnel and RTMs to maximize visibility while staying physically active and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or can earn GED while gaining skills.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive personal vehicle with valid insurance; mileage reimbursed.
• Respectful of physical activities: lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs; occasional 50 lbs.
• Live within 25-35 miles from the primary location: Dorchester, MA; secondary: Medford & Sommerville, MA.
• Schedule: 4 days a week and 1 weekend day.

Responsibilities

A Full-Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world-famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, ChipsAhoy!,and Triscuit to life in-store – building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them. Primary responsibilities include:

• Represent Mondelēz: in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owners of the biscuit aisle.
• Serve as the face of the company: delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers
• Execute daily: store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via digital merchandising initiative (DMI)
• Build and maintain: strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands
• Order product: via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce
• Implement promotional displays: and ensure compliance with your Retail Territory Manager (RTM)-negotiated plans with the stores
• Follow daily schedules: and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues
• Support seasonal sales: new product launches, and high visibility merchandising events
• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team
• Stay Safe & Compliant: embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Requirements Include:

• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehiclewith valid insurance coverageto a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stockroom to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.

• Schedule availability required: 4 days a week & 1 weekend day

Salary and Benefits:
Hourly compensation rate ranges from $23.44 to $25.44 based on relevant experience.
