Job summary

Mondelēz International is hiring a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer in Bannockburn, IL. You will service stores, stock shelves, and build promotional displays for Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and more, visiting multiple locations with a set daily schedule.

Campaigns rely on iPad orders, timely in-store visits, and coordination with sales reps. Benefits include 401k, vacation, holidays, and health options, with a starting time at 08:00 AM and a Tue–Sat schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access military base facilities.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to drive personal vehicle with valid insurance to various store locations.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in stores and work with sales reps to optimize product visibility and displays.
• Carry out in-store visits and capture photos of displays per DSD Merchandising steps.
• Order product via iPad/tablet to keep shelves in stock.
• Ensure Nabisco brands are well represented and stocked per Mondelēz guidelines.
• Follow negotiated plans with store managers and report issues to management.
• Follow daily schedule set by merchandising manager for efficient service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude while in-store representing Mondelēz.

Join our team of Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining orchangingoutdisplays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands likeOreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit,among other delicious industry-leading snacks.

• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with salesrepresentativesto optimizethe visibilityof Mondelēz products on shelves andto constructpromotional displays.

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.

• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions.

• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz,belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit,among others) are well represented,stocked,and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.

• Ensure Sales Representative’snegotiated planswith store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’management team.

• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.

• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.

• Demonstratepositiveand upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid REAL ID driver's license (issued by the state in which the person resides), U.S. passport, or federal ID.This role will service a military base facility where it is a federal requirement to have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.

• Ability to drive your personal vehiclewith valid insurance coverageto a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).

• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities likerepetitive lifting,bending,andcarrying up to 25 lbs.Occasionally,pushingandpullingover50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock roomsto store floorand stocking the store’s shelves.

• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.

• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Bannockburn, IL

• Secondary locations:Northbrook, IL

• Schedule availability required:Tuesday-Saturday
• Start Time: 08:00 AM

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.60-$19.00 based on relevant experience
