Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Cumberland, Pawtucket, Tiverton, RI and nearby areas. You’ll provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes, practicing with flexibility and balance.

Join a veterinarian-founded network of 400+ colleagues, with ongoing mentorship and a structured schedule. 4-day roles start at $107,500 and 5-day roles at $130,000, plus bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Weekend availability and ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients' homes.
• Practice compassionate, client-centered veterinary care in a mobile setting.
• Work across Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Cumberland, Pawtucket, Tiverton, RI and surrounding areas.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Cumberland, Pawtucket, Tiverton, RI and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
