Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Davenport and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, offering balance, mentorship, and independence.

You'll join a community of 400+ veterinarians with flexible schedules; 4-day roles start at $85,000 and 5-day roles at $100,000 with bonus opportunities, plus comprehensive benefits and professional development support.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Weekend work availability and ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance).
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian serving Lakeland, Davenport and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with mentors and practice managers to ensure compassionate care.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Lakeland, FL, including Davenport, Plant City, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Haines City, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver\'s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
