Job summary

The Leo A. Hoffmann Center in Minnesota is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist for our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) serving adolescent males ages 11-17.

You will provide individual, group, and family therapy and contribute to trauma-informed care. Join a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, education, residential, and case management staff, and help youth and families build resilience through personalized treatment planning and evidence-based

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with youth, families, and mental health concerns preferred.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic, functional, and risk assessments
• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care conferences
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, education, residential, and case management staff

• Assist with staff trainings and consultation as directed by the Clinical Supervisor
• Support youth and families through therapeutic interventions that promote healing, growth, and resilience
