Job summary

Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services in Yankton is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide crisis triage, intervention, and care coordination for youth and adults at The CORE Center, a 24/3 crisis receiving and stabilization facility.

You will join an interdisciplinary team and work four 10-hour overnight shifts per week, three days off, with a salary of $94,000–$104,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• QMHP designation or equivalent required.
• Master's degree in psychology or related field.
• Current LPC-MH, CSW, or APN licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis triage, intervention, and care coordination at CORE Center.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals, technicians, and security personnel.
• Support youth and adults in crisis at the 24/3 crisis receiving and stabilization center.

This position promises autonomy and variety. The mental health professional is responsible to provide crisis triage, intervention, and care coordination for youth and adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises at our 24/3 crisis receiving and stabilization center, The CORE Center. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals, technicians, and security personnel who are dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of those we serve.

YOUR SCHEDULE

• Four 10-hour overnight shifts per week
• Three days off each week
• Full-time position with excellent compensation and benefits package
• SALARY: $94,000–$104,000 per year

Requirements

Applicants must meet South Dakota education and experience requirements for designation as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and may include:

• Certified Social Worker
• Master’s level Psychology Professional
• Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health (LPC-MH)
• Advanced Practice Nurse
