Job summary

Creative Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking a Facility Medical Director & Supervising Physician to lead medical operations for SNFs in the Richmond area. The role includes patient care duties, medical directorship, and collaboration with a robust clinical team.

The physician will supervise NPs, ensure quality outcomes, and participate in on-call rotations while employing an EHR on a mobile platform. Licensure in Virginia, DEA and board certification are required along with leadership

Qualifications

• Virginia medical license
• DEA
• Board Certification, relevant field (Internal / Family Medicine, Geriatrics, etc.)
• 2+ years clinical leadership or supervising physician experience
• 5+ years clinical practice experience

Responsibilities

• medical directorships for SNFs
• ensure engagement with facility leadership, other providers, patients, and families
• help identify growth opportunities in local market
• supervise nurse practitioners
• audit documentation for supervised providers on a monthly basis
• provide high-quality complex geriatric care to patients
• collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
• participate in the on-call schedule
• attend required trainings and meetings
• care path compliance
• productivity
• prevention of avoidable transfers

COMPENSATION

• Negotiable Sign-On Bonus
• $200,000 to $250,000+ Base Salary, highly negotiable based on experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This organization is seeking a physician leader for a facility medical director and supervising physician role, which includes some patient care duties.

Physicians see patients in skilled nursing facilities and are remotely supported by a robust clinical and administrative team.
